ALLEN.—In Rice county, Kansas, December 13th, 1879, of lung fever, after an illness of six weeks, Sr. Adaline Allen, wife of Bro. R. H. Allen, aged 43 years, 7 months, and 17 days.

She was a member of the Lawrence (Michigan) Branch of the Church, and the Saints there sympathize deeply with Bro. Allen over his great loss. She passed quietly and peacefully away.
