He was born February 8, 1948 in Wilkes County to the late Samuel and Mary Collins Osborne.
In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his wife, Linda Gaye Wilson; five brothers, Dewitt Osborne, Winfield Osborne, Eugene Osborne, Donald Osborne and Gary "Scooter" Osborne; three sisters, Myrtle Lee Byrd, Boe Bates and Irene Dameron.
He is survived by three children, Tammy Gaye Williams, Johnny "Mack" Osborne II and DeAnna Bottomley; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two sisters-in-laws, Carol Osborne, Virginia Osborne; one brother-in-law, Keith Byrd.
The family requests the honor of your presence at the funeral service to honor the life of Johnny in the chapel of Grandview Memorial Funeral Home.
Interment will follow at Saddle Mountain Cemetery.
