She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Harry J Haney Jr; brothers Colby Grimes, Daniel Grimes, Revered Kenneth Grimes, and sister Nancy Quinn as well her parents JC& Rebecca Grimes.
After graduating from St Mary of the Springs High School, Sue followed her sister into Nursing at the Mt Carmel School of Nursing and then Mt Carmel Hospital where she worked many years in the labor & delivery unit and then post-partum units. She loved the babies, and loved taking care of people. In 1961 she married the love of her life, Harry Haney, Jr. and they raised their family on Columbus' west side, juggling the kid's sports schedules and operating Haney's Economy Drug Stores.
Sue was very active in retirement at St Joan of Arc Church, as a sacristan and Eucharistic Minister and continued to volunteer at Mt Carmel Hospita
