Patricia Rae Burlbaugh, age 77, passed away in Bentonville, Ark., surrounded by family on April 21, 2023.

She was predeceased by her parents, Harry and Myrta Butler; her husband, Jerry Burlbaugh; brothers, Larry Butler and Philip Butler; and sister, Donna Robertson.

Born September 13, 1945, in Indianapolis, Ind., she hurried into the world ahead of her twin sister, Sue, to be fourth in line of 15 children. As a teenager, she moved to southern California, where she spent much of her life. She married twice, and raised two of her daughters there.

After they were grown, she moved back to Indianapolis more than once over the years to be near her siblings. When her two youngest daughters relocated from southern California to northwest Arkansas, she would move between the two places to be near siblings or children and grandchildren. At 76, she decided to return to NWA.

Pat was a people person who truly enjoyed her decades in the retail industry. She loved family, friends, laughter, music, dancing, and learning. Her greatest joy was being a grandmother and great-grandmother.

In 2020 she experienced one of the greatest joys of her life. With DNA she welcomed Lana Aills, April Fielder, Rachel Aills, Taylor Robinson, Jenyfer Garcia-Lovato, Brian Garcia-Lovato, and Draven Gray to her family.

She is survived by her daughters, Lana Aills, Tarra (Reggie) Davis, and Julie (Rob) King; grandchildren, Aaron Williams, Kelsey (Jarrod) Troyer, Jordan (Amber) Williams, Emerson King, April (Josh) Fielder, and Rachel (Andrea) Aills; great-grandchildren, Elizabeth Livingston, and Sebastian Williams; sisters, Susan Ledbetter, Peggy Lambdin, Linda Revel, Loretta Butler, Barbara Davis, and Deanna Wanzo; brothers, Rex Butler, Leonard Butler, Gene Butler, David Butler, Stephen Elliott; countless nieces, nephews, and friends.

In case she never had the chance to tell you, her favorite color was orange.
