His younger brother,Private George Newman Levy also fell.He served with the 11th Bn. Australian Infantry, A.I.F.and, having no known grave, is commemorated on the YPRES (MENIN GATE) MEMORIAL

They were sons of Hyman and Clara Levy of 76 Leadenhall St., London, E.C.3, England.
Both served with the Australian Imperial Forces and both are commemorated on the war memorial to be seen at Waltham Abbey Jews Cemetery in Essex.
