Harold worked with his brother, Lloyd, who had
married Ella Fallis. They shared a farm west of
Greenway in Stephen Township. In 1931 Harold
and Elsie bought the Dixon farm, Lot 20 Con. 6
WCR. Their children, Ella and Paul, were born
in Stephen. Ronald, Jean and Inez were all born
in McGillivray. Elsie was curator of Cloverdale
Tweedsmuir History Books and a well known
historian. Harold and Elsie retired to Parkhill,
where Elsie died in 1990
