Michael A. Meier, 68, of Charlevoix, passed away on July 25, 2022 at his home.
He was born on September 17, 1953, in Charlevoix, the son of Charles and Mary "Jackie"(Lucas) Meier.
Mike was employed at the E.J. Iron Works as well as Haggard Plumbing and Heating.
He loved the outdoors, especially hunting, fishing and downhill skiing. He also liked working on vehicles.
Surviving are 4 children, Mike Meier, Chris Meier, Melissa Meier and Christy Shaw all of Traverse City, his mother Jackie Meier of Charlevoix, 3 brothers, Charles "Corky" (Sue) Meier of Charlevoix, Mark Meier of East Jordan, Tim Meier of FL, a sister Cherie (Lynn) Oakes of PA, 15 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death were his daughter Brenda Meier and his father Charles Meier.
Services are pending at this time and will be posted when details are made available.
