Funeral services were held Tuesday at Sacred Heart Church, Adams for Edward John Kiefer Jr., age 56, of rural Elkton. Edward died at his home Saturday evening.
Survivors are his wife, Virginia; three sons, Richard of Burnsville, Minnesota, Ronald of Cresco, Iowa, Colin at home; five daughters, Mrs. James (Marian) Owens, National, Tenn., Mrs. Delmer (Margie) Sorgatz, LeRoy, Mrs. Bryce (Betty) Howe, Dexter, Darlene and Lori at home; six grandchildren, four brothers, Floyd, Emmett, Laverne, Roland of Taopi; a sister, Mrs. Loy (Romel) Richard, Riceville, Iowa.
Edward was a TEC 5 in the US Army during World War II.
