Jerry L. Spradlin, 65, Anderson, passed away March 12, 2008, at Saint John's Medical Center after a sudden illness.
He was born Nov. 11, 1942, in Anderson, the son of Gilbert and Virginia Spradlin. He was a lifelong Anderson resident and retired from Delco Remy after 39 years.
Jerry was known as a kind and generous self-made individual with a wonderful sense of humor. Jerry had an exotic sense of taste that was admired by many near and far.
He is survived by his lifelong friend, Mary McCaslin of Arizona; and cherished companions, Fluff and Goldie Spradlin.
Services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Home with the Rev. Richard True officiating. Burial will be in Richland Township Cemetery.
Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
