Roger David Steward, born September 20, 1925 in Steward's Mill, Texas, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family at his home in Santa Fe, New Mexico on March 8, 2008.

RD, is survived by his wife: Margaret Steward; sons Worth Steward (Lisa), David Steward (Pam), Randy Steward (Mary) and Chris Brady (Liberty); daughters Karen Brady and Amanda Steward and numerous grand and great-grand children. RD was preceded in death by his parents, Roger and Grace Nettle Steward, his sister Emma Louise Schaefer and one grandchild Stephen Steward.

RD and wife, Margaret, recent residents of Santa Fe, were long time residents of Corpus Christi, Texas, where RD was a respected and successful petroleum geologist.

RD was a loving and caring husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend, and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Roger was buried Saturday, March 15, 2008, at Steward's Mill Cemetery, a few miles north of Fairfield, Texas.
