Joe Lincecum of Thornton passed away Tuesday, March 11, 2008 at this residence. Visitation will be Friday, March 14 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., at the Groesbeck Funeral Home. Services will be conducted Saturday, March 15, 2008 at 10:00 AM in the Seale-Round Prairie Community Center with burial to follow in Seale-Round Prairie Cemetery.
Joe was born to John Aubyn "Jack"and Mildred (Jones) Lincecum in Speegleville, TX. He was a graduate of Leon High School and Texas A & M University. He was employed with the Farmers Home Administration in Beaumont, TX and retired in 1995 then became a rancher. He served two years in the U.S. Army and fourteen months in Vietnam.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
