Ettie Strange, 77, died at 4 p.m. Wednesday in Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Strange was the wife of Rev. Bill Strange, Pastor of Auglaize United Baptist Church.

Born on June 17, 1892, in Jackson County, Kentucky. She was the daughter of Daniel and Emma Shouse Reynolds. She was married to Rev. Strange in 1927 in Kentucky, and he survives.

Other survivors include four sons; Ed Phillips of Allen County Kentucky, Earl Phillips of Alger, Owen Phillips and Sonny Strange of Lima, four daughters; Mrs. Calvin (Hattie) King of Fort Wayne Indiana, Mrs. Ted (Bertha) Burkholder, Mrs. Isom (Dorothy Mae) Oliver, and Mrs. Fred (Trula Jean) Poiser, all of Lima, two brothers; John and Ernest Reynolds of Millstone Kentucky, and two sisters; Mrs. Martha Adams of Kent Branch Kentucky and Mrs. Stella Combs of Mayking Kentucky, 44 grandchildren and 65 great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Siferd Funeral Home Main Street Chapel. Rev. Clarence Tolliver officiating. Burial will be made in Memorial Park Cemetery.
