Dorothy 'Dee' J. Pry, passed away on Sunday, April 16, 2023 at Penn Highlands – DuBois, DuBois, PA.
Born on March 1, 1939 in Mineral Springs, PA, she was the daughter of Earl 'Doog' and Bessie A. (Wisor) Wisor.
On January 23, 1960 in Spring Valley Church, she wed Paul L. Pry.
Dee was a lifetime member of Mineral Springs Bible Tabernacle Church, Woodland, PA.
She was a lifetime member of the Glen Ritchey Firehall Women's Auxillary. She was employed for a number of years at the General Cigar Plant, Philipsburg. Dee was a homemaker for the greater part of her life and was known for her delicious pies and cookies.
She is survived by three children, Douglas K. Pry of Mineral Springs, PA, Neal L. Pry of West Decatur, PA, and Lisa K. Campbell and her husband Andrew of Warriors Mark, PA; two grandchildren, Halie Parks and her husband, Matthew of Brisbin, PA and Ashlie L. Osselborn and her husband, Rich of Imperial, PA; and four great-grandchildren, Makenzie, Jackson, Matthew, and Keaton.
Dee is also survived by two sisters, Sylvia 'Sobe' J. Fernandes of Mineral Springs, PA and Sandra Pry and her husband, Joe also of Mineral Springs, PA and a number of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, an infant daughter, two brothers, Lamar Wisor and Ronald Wisor, one sister, Naomi Osewalt, and her daughter-in-law, Drena Pry.
Family and friends will be received at The Bennett & Houser Funeral Home, 312 Locust St., Clearfield, PA on Thursday, April 20 from 1 – 4 p.m. A celebration of life will follow at 4 p.m. in the funeral home with Pastor Mike Knepp. Interment will be in the Bradford Cemetery.
