A graduate of Uintah High School, Margaret married David Christian Roberts of Roosevelt in 1939. They were the parents of eight children. Margaret was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and served a full time mission for the Church in Tennessee in 1984-85. She was also a proud member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers, Camp Thornburg.
Margaret was a lover of good music, and an accomplished pianist and organist. She was highly skilled in sewing, embroidery, crochet and quilting. But most important to her was God and family.
She was preceded in death by parents; husband; sisters, Lorna Buday and O'Reta Pope; brothers, Clyde and Jep; daughter, Carol Ann Henderson; and sons, David, Don and Greg. Margaret is survived by daughter, Rochelle Rackham of Farr West; sons, Anthony of Costa Mesa, Calif.; Corwyn and LeGrande, both of Orange, Calif.; 17 grandchildren; and 28 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were Saturday, Feb. 23, at the Maeser Utah Stake Center. Burial followed at the Maeser Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Blackburn Vernal Mortuary.
