Westlake - Wordnia Snyder Billodeau McDonnold, passed away November 25, 2012, in Resthaven.
She was born December 5, 1921 in Meridian, LA and resided in Oakdale before moving to Maplewood then to Westlake in 1946.
She retired from Sears Credit Department after 33 1/2 years. She taught youth Sunday school at First Baptist Church in Westlake, 32 years, Eastern Star, her brothers and sisters in multiple chapters, since 1961.
Survived by son, Frank Snyder, Jr. and wife, Sue, 4 children, 11 grandchildren; daughter, Sandra Johnston and husband, Wade, 2 children, 6 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren; step children, Gay Nell Clements, 3 children, 5 grandchildren, Artie Billodeau, 2 children, 4 grandchildren, Julie Bertrand, 3 children, 8 grandchildren, Debbie Savant, 3 children, 4 grandchildren and many loving nieces and nephews; sisters, Carolyn Gay Marsh of Jacksonville, NC, Dorothy Bass of Many, LA; sister-in-law, Dot Farris of Westlake, LA; brother, Albert "Bo" Farris and wife Garnet of Baker, LA.
She is preceded in death by her husbands, Franklin B. Snyder, Sr., Charlie Billodeau and W.L. McDonnold; bother, Jimmie Farris; sister, Vada Busek; parents, John Albert and Carrie Farris; brother-in-laws, Dan Bass, Benjamin Marsh, Jack Snyder and wife, Quida.
