A resident of Bernalillo, NM. He is survived by his loving wife, Louisa H. Acosta, with whom he spent 58 love-filled years; his son, Henry Acosta and wife, Louisa M; daughters, Lala L. Acosta-Ruiz, Rosemary Acosta-Valencia, Theresa Acosta-Garcia and husband, Andres; two brothers, Pete Acosta and wife, Annie and Rudy Acosta and wife, Petra; two sisters, Sista Gonzales and Lola Dominguez; several grandchildren, Chavela, Petra, Carrie, Raymond and wife, Veroncia, Lorrieann and husband, David, Robert, Lorenzo, Brenda, Melissa and Victoria; great-grandchildren, Michelle, Samantha, Stacy, Steven, Jalisa, Joshua, Nick Jr., Martin and Alexandria.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the Presbyterian Hospice Staff for the excellent and loving care he received during his illness.

The family extends an invitation to join them at the Acosta Residence. French Mortuary, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE.

It was on a sad and quiet night, That he went away. No thunder crashed, Nor lightning flashed. But sitting at his bedside, His wife, son, and daughters, Watched while he died. Out in the living room, The rest of his family, Sat in silent gloom, Waiting for the word, that would take him from their world. So sad is a death, When he breathes his last breath. So sad is the day that he went away.
