E.E. "Blackie" Beams, 89, went to be with the Lord, Monday, March 26, 2007.
Funeral: 11:30 a.m. Wednesday in Greenwood Chapel. Burial: Greenwood Memorial Park.
Blackie was born Aug. 26, 1917, in Kingston, Okla. He was a member of Cana Baptist Church and a longtime educator for the Fort Worth ISD, where he taught industrial arts.
Survivors: Wife of 67 years, Margaret Beams; sons, Ronald Beams and wife, Carrol, and Bob Beams and wife, Lynda; daughter, Barbara Clements and husband, Alan; nine grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and brother, Robert Anderson.
