Jackie G. Bishop, 84, of Aurora passed away Friday, April 14, 2023, at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born May 30, 1938, in Beaver Dam, Kentucky. Jackie served as a pastor of the Lebanon Full Gospel Church where he served for more then 40 years. Jackie was employed for many years at Barber Greene as a welder. He is survived by his wife, Iva Bishop; six children, Greg (Julie) Bishop, Jeff Bishop, Michael Bishop, Justin Phillips, Theresa (Bobby) Dixon, and Vickie (Tom) Connor; several grandchildren; and a sister Bertha Lamar. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his two sons Jerry Bishop and Fred Phillips.
