Samuel Fowler was born in Simpson Co. North Carolina. He was the grandson of John Fowler & Hannah Sutton Fowler. His parents were Samuel (1766-1812) and Mary (born about 1770) Fowler. His parents were originally from North Carolina, and then moved to Caldwell County, Kentucky by 1810.
He married Jane Bratton Fowler in 1820 in Trigg County, Kentucky. Their children were Hardy, Martha E., Hannah, Mary & William Sebron Fowler. He died in 1864 at the age of 76 years old.
