Rolf Michael Burger

Rolf died Monday at Washington State University after apparently suffering a heart attack. He had a congenital heart condition.

Born in Pullman, he attended Pullman High School and spent half his senior year studying in Germany, returning to graduate with his class in 1984.

He attended WSU and the University of Washington and returned in the fall of 1896 to WSU. He was a third-year architectural student and a member of the Farmhouse Fraternity.

Survivors include his parents, Dieter and Anke Burger of Pullman, sister, Jutta Christine Berger of Pullman, and his maternal grandmother, Irmgard David in Germany.

The family suggests memorials to the Rolf M. Burger Scholarship in the care of the WSU School of Architecture or to the Farmhouse fraternity scholarship fund.
