Francis married a second time to Augusta Davis on July 26, 1868 in Wayne County. Born to this union: Henry Everton, Carie L, Mertie Lucinda, Rebecca, John Alfred and Addie Lenore.
Marion served as a private in Co. E, 16th Virginia Cavalry, during the Civil War. Marion was a farmer and in 1880 he was a jailer in Wayne County. Siblings of Francis were:
