Age 69, Lockport resident since 1950, passed away Thursday, March 6, 2008 at Lakewood Rehabilitation & Nursing Home in Plainfield.

Kenneth is survived by his loving family, his wife, Phyllis M. Clear (nee Warner); children, Dawn (Tim) McNamara, Tim (Debbie) Clear; sisters, Ardis (Dean) Wirtz, Virginia Rodgers, Norma (Larry) Phillips; grandchildren, Kevin McNamara, Sean McNamara and Timothy McNamara.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents, Norman and Mildred Clear (nee Wieske).

Kenneth was born in Joliet and raised in Custer Park. He was a United States Navy Veteran and a member of the First United Methodist Church in Lockport as well as a member of the Lockport Area Exchange Club and the American Legion. He was employed by Packard Bio Science in Downers Grove as a Manufacturer Engineer for 34 years.

Family will receive friends at Goodale Memorial Chapel, 912 S. Hamilton Street, Lockport, on Monday, March 10, 2008 from 3 to 8 PM. Funeral service, Tuesday, March 11, 2008 at 10 AM at the funeral home. Interment, Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Joliet Area Community Hospice or the American Cancer Society would be appreciated. Goodale Memorial Chapel
