MANSFIELD - Funeral services for John Thomas Anderson, 69, of Pelican were held Friday at4 p.m. at Wallace Baptist Church with the Rev. Tom Billoly officiating.
Burial was in Wallace Cemetery under the direction of Drewett Funeral Home.
He died in a local hospital Thursday following a long illness. He was a retired oil field worker and a farmer.
He is survived by his widow; two daughters, Mrs. Milton Ryan and Mrs. Ralph Billingsley, both of Mansfield; five sons, H. F. Anderson of Frierson, Milton H. Anderson of Bossier City, Donald R. Anderson of Allentown, Penn., J. T. Anderson of Baton Rouge, J. H. Anderson of Port Allen; also one sister,Ms. Oscar Emmons of Leesville, and 15 grandchildren.
