Joe Ben Elliott, age 86, of Cayce, KY passed away Tuesday, April 11, 2023 at his residence.
He was born on May 17, 1936 in Hickman County, KY to the late John Porter Elliott and Mary Latham Elliott.
He was a member of the Cayce Baptist Church and was a Kentucky Colonel. Joe Ben had worked for the Fulton County School System as a custodian and a bus driver. Joe Ben also worked for the Fulton County Detention Center in the maintenance department.
He is survived by his children: Barbie Holman of Cayce, KY, Dell (Jennifer) Elliott of Cayce, KY, Wendy (Jackie) Duncan of Hickman, KY and Tina Elliott of Cayce, KY, four grandchildren: Jeremiah Johnson of Fulton, KY, Joe (Shelby) Holman of Hickman, KY, Jenna Elliott of Cayce, KY and Jelynda (Ray) Jones of Stuttgart, AR, three great-grandchildren: Cooper Johnson, Evelynn Holman, Brinley Holman and a sister, Joyce (Wesley) Thompson of Union City, TN.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife Faye Jones Elliott and two brothers: Rudell Elliott and Hazel Elliott.
