Michael Terry Hutson, 74 of Paris, passed away Saturday April 8, 2023 at 9:18 p.m. at his home surrounded by his family. He retired after working 32 years at ZF Boge as a maintenance technician and a machine operator.

He was born September 18, 1948 in Clinton, IN, the son of Ralph Hutson and Rosie Sakala-Hutson. He married Jennifer J. Hutson on May 19, 1978 and she survives. She was his caretaker as his health declined and loved him till his last day.

Mike graduated from Clinton, IN high school and was drafted into the Army at the age of 19 during the Vietnam War. He worked selflessly afterward in the support of his family until his retirement. He was both stoic and loving, especially in his older age. He will be remembered for his sense of humor, his love of old cars and for just being there when you needed help.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents and his beloved sister Marianne Hutson.

Per Mike's wishes, no public services are planned. Interment will be in Sugar Grove Cemetery at a later date. Templeton Funeral Home of Paris is assisting with arrangements.
