Mrs. Jane Porter Hardin died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Laura Garner Albright, on the Decatur highway, three miles south of Athens, at 10 o'clock last Friday night and the body was taken to Marshall County where it was interred in the Walker Cemetery after funeral services at 3 p.m. in the nearby church, conducted by Bro. M. A. Creel, McConnell Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Hardin was 88 years of age and was a native of Marshall County, Ala.
She was a loyal member of the Church of Christ.
She is survived by two sons, Mack Hardin of Grant, Ala., and Wiley Hardin of Huntsville, Ala., and three daughters, Mrs. Margaret Patterson of Waco, Texas, Mrs. John Patterson and Mrs. Laura Garner Albright of Limestone County, Ala.
