Funeral services held Monday, October 1, 2002 at Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home with burial in the Pebble Grove Cemetery. Mr. Eichinger was born March 29, 1936 in Burleson County to Frank Eichinger and Olive Sanders. Mr. Eichinger was a horticulturist. He was preceded in death by 2 sisters Anna Marie McKnight and Eula Mae McBride.
Mr. Eichinger is survived by a son, Carl Acosta of Cameron; a daughter, Trish Vargas of Cameron; 6 brothers, Edward of Cameron, Thomas of Rockdale, John, Joe, Jim and Leland, all of Cameron and Doug Eichinger of Bremond; 5 sisters, Bertha Carter of Georgetown, Mary Shipwash of Austin, Lois of Tahlequah, OK, Lana Coker, and Betty Sue Chatham of Austin; 6 grandchildren, also survive.
