Peter Leo Gauthier was born to Peter Gauthier and Mary Jane Lebrasseur on November 25th 1904 in Waterville, Maine. He enlisted in the US Navy on July 5th 1923 at the age of 18. He married Marie Medora Montminy on May 28th 1930 in Waterville while stationed on the aircraft carrier USS Saratoga. Immediately after their marriage, they moved to San Diego, California. Here they had three children; Mary Shirley 8 May 1931 - 28 Oct 2014, James Leo 12 Aug 1932 - 25 Mar 2021 and Linda Diane 9 Sep 1947 - 18 Nov 1987. Peter was discharged from the Navy on June 5th 1946. He divorced Medora in the late 1940's and then married Birdie Johnson in the early 1950's. They divorced in 1970. He then married Augustina Lyall in the early 1970's. They divorced in 1975. Peter passed on November 26th 1980 in La Mesa, California. His ashes were spread in the sea.
