She was born October 29, 1913 in Salt Lake City, a daughter of John Seamon and Mary Lyman Hiskey. She lived her entire life in Teasdale. She married Lorenzo Keith Taylor, September 2, 1933 in Loa, Utah. Their marriage was solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple July 7, 1953. He died March 19, 1987. Rosanna and Keith raised a family of seven children on a cattle ranch in Teasdale, Utah. She was an active member of the LDS Church. She was a wonderful wife, a loving mother and grandmother. Despite facing many challenges during her life (including the unique problems of old age), she retained her good spirits, love for her family, and an adamant desire to live in her own home (which she successfully did until a week before her death). She was strong and self-reliant to the very end. Above all else, she loved her family.
Rosanna is survived by her children: Keith LaMont and LaJuana Taylor of Bountiful; Mary Allene and Roe Stephenson, Jack Hiskey Taylor, all of Teasdale; Dwight and Barbara Taylor of West Valley City; Jenny Anita Taylor of Tucson, AZ; Karl Robert and Kathy Taylor of Phoenix, AZ; Camille and Ted Smith of Cottonwood Heights; 25 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a brother, Max Hiskey; a daughter-in-law: Shirley Buxton Taylor and a granddaughter, Julie Taylor Mamalas. The family wishes to thank everyone who helped Mother in any way over the years, especially during times when her health required extra attention.
Funeral Services will be held Friday, March 14, 2008 at 1 p.m. in the Teasdale LDS Ward Cultural Hall, where Friends may call for Viewing Friday morning from 11:00-12:30 prior to the Services.
Burial will be in the Teasdale Cemetery under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield, Salina and Gunnison, Utah.
