Jerry Frakes, 72, a former Cainsville resident, died Monday, Feb 19, 1979, at San Dimas, Calif. The body was cremated, and a memorial service will be scheduled later by the Stoklasa Funeral Home, Cainsville.
Mr Frakes was born Mar 6, 1906, in Missouri, to Ira and Anna Frakes. He lived in Cainsville before moving to Dodge City, Kan., and from there to California 20 years ago. He leaves two sisters, Grace Meyer, San Diego, and was a tax auditor and retired in 1972.
He is survived by his wife, Lena Frakes, of the home in Covina, Calif.; two sisters, Grace Meyer, San Diego, and Esther Simmons, Jamesport; and one grandaughter.
