Funeral services for Edwin Lewis Fullmer, 73, were held at the Salmon Cemetery on 12 June 1961 with Bishop Gar Hodges in charge. Mr. Fullmer died 10 June 1961 in the Steele Memorial Hospital where he had been confined since 31 May. He had been in poor and failing health. Mr. Fullmer was born 7 April 1888 at Spanish Fork, Utah, the son of Edwin and Ada Maria Fullmer. He was one of 10 children. He received his education at the Brigham Young University at Provo, Utah and had served a Latter-day Saint Mission in England. He enrolled in the Civilian Conservation Corps on 14 July 1933 at Burley, Idaho and was discharged on 21 April 1934 at Shoup, Idaho. He lived in the rural Salmon area, primarily on Panther Creek until about three years ago when he came to Salmon to make his home. He did prospecting and had a placer mine. He is survived by four sisters, Mrs. Clara Bullock; Mrs. Mae Nye; Mrs. Elvina Sirrine and Mrs. Lucille Warnstaff; two brothers, D.S. Fullmer and Melvin H. Fullmer; many nieces and nephews.
