Finance Leaders Attend E. M. Crampton Funeral. Several executives of local banking and insurance firms attended the funeral Tuesday afternoon of Edwin Merwin Crampton, vice-president of the Hartford National Bank and Trust Company. Services were held at his home, 320 North Quaker Lane. West Hartford, with Rev. George G. Guinness, rector of St. James's Church West Hartford, officiating. Executives of the Hartford National Bank and Trust Company and heads of several insurance companies acted as honorary bearers. Active bearers were Attorney DeLancey F. Pelgrift, Lewis A. Partridge, Allton Green, Dr. William J. Fay, Ostrom Enders and Herbert Spencer. Burial was in Fairview Cemetery, West Hartford. Hartford Courant, Hartford, Connecticut, 24 Dec 1941, Wed., Page 4.
