Tommy Leroy Robinson, 85, of Valdese passed away Friday, April 7, 2023 surrounded by his loving family.
A lifelong resident of Burke County, Tommy was born May 9, 1937 to the late Benjamin and Martha Robinson.
Tommy worked as a mechanic and was co-owner of Robinson Motor Sales. He served in the National Guard and was a member of Crosslink Church.
In addition to his parents, Tommy was preceded in death by brother, Ray Robinson; sisters, Patricia Waters, Pamela Brown and infant sister, Judy Robinson.
Those left to cherish his memory are wife, Shirley Robinson; daughter, Kristi Ratliff and husband James Ratliff, and son, Tommy Keith Robinson; grandchildren, Erin Willems and husband Jeff Willems of Boise, ID, Carrie Berryhill and husband Tyler Berryhill of Nebo, NC, Jacob Ratliff and wife Ashley Ratliff of Charleston, SC; great grandchildren, Ellie Berryhill of Nebo, NC and Baby Girl Ratliff, arriving in August; numerous nieces and nephews and a special cousin, Valerie Orders.
A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, April 12, 2023 at 12:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Heritage Funeral Service in Valdese with Pastor Jonathon Reece officiating. The family will receive friends Wednesday, April 12, 2023 from 11:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. at Heritage Funeral Service. Interment will follow at Burke Memorial Park in Morganton, NC.
