Tracie Lynn Margaret Brown, 34, of Vineland, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Sunday, March 9, 2008, at the Kennedy Memorial Hospital in Stratford in the loving care of Hospice.

Born and raised in Vineland, she was a lifelong resident. She graduated from Vineland High School, Class of 1992. Ms. Brown worked as a waitress and hostess for Five Points Restaurant for seven years. After that she worked in the deli at Main Liquors for three years. She was a member of the Woodruff United Methodist Church. Ms. Brown loved growing flowers, going to the shore, enjoyed doing artwork, and she loved her son, nieces and nephews. She was a caregiver and enjoyed spending time with her family.

She is survived by her son, Thomas Dylan Sumpter, at home; her fiancé, Louis Sumpter. She was predeceased by her father, Thomas R. Brown Sr., in 2007, and is survived by her mother Janice (Peters) Brown of Vineland; two sisters, Stacie Brown and husband Jeff Sowers of Vineland, and Casie Brown and fiancé John Bordley of Vineland; her uncle, Dutch and wife JoAnne Peters; uncle, Armond and wife Bobbie Blair; uncle, Johnny and wife Jane Brown; her cousins, Joey and wife Shari Peters, Donna Peters, Timmy Peters, Cindy Peters, Tammy Smith, Charlie Blair, Paul Hahn and Nikki Brown; nieces and nephews, Christopher, Dominick and Jeffrey Sowers, John, Tyler, Ashley, Andrew and Kaitlyn Bordley; future mother-in-law, Della Koshinski; step-children, Jennifer and Louis Sumpter; and her best friend since kindergarten, Marlene (Zilavy) Bristowe and her family Julie, Fred and Charlene Zilavy. She was also predeceased by her grandparents, Pete and Margaret.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. on Friday in the Woodruff United Methodist Church, 4 E. Finley Road, Bridgeton. Family and friends will be received from 9 to 10 a.m. Friday in the church.

Burial will be in Laurel Lawn Cemetery, Bridgeton.

Arrangements are under the direction of Christy Funeral Home, Millville.
