Summer L. Jackson, 6 months, of New Albany, died Saturday, March 8, 2008, at Floyd Memorial Hospital in New Albany.

She was born Aug. 11, 2007, in La Grange, Ky., the daughter of Mitchell D. and Jessica D. Jones Jackson.

She is survived by her parents of New Albany; three sisters, Chelsea Marie Jackson, Alexis StarLite Jackson and Mersadi Paris Jackson, all of New Albany; her maternal grandmother, Helen Widmayer of Carrollton, Ky.; her paternal grandmother, Kathy Criswell of New Albany; her paternal grandfather, Dale Jackson of Madison; her paternal great-grandmother, Anita Sue Jackson of Mayfield, Ky.; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Kenny Jones; and one aunt.

The funeral was at Vail-Holt Funeral Homes Hilltop Chapel. Burial was in Springdale Cemetery.
