Born April 8, 1928, in Lawrence County, she was the daughter of Carl and Grace Tyndal. She married Paul Potts on April 8, 1947.
She retired from Crane in the Army Department and was a member of VFW Auxiliary, the White River Humane Society and was awarded the White River Humane Society Coleman Award in 1994.
Surviving with the husband; are a brother and sister-in-law, Wayne and Marilyn Potts, of Bedford; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and daughter, Gail Ann Potts.
Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. on Wednesday from the Elmwood Chapel of Day & Carter Mortuary with Paul Guthrie officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hill Cemetery.
