A convicted killer recently released from prison was charged with fatally shooting his brother during an argument and then killing five witnesses, including two of his brother's children. Three remaining children were
critically wounded in the attack, but one of them was able to tell investigators about their assailant.
Jessie L. Dotson, 33, was arrested.
In the trial that started in September 2010, Jessie "Junior" Dotson was convicted of 6 counts of murder and 3 counts of attempted murder and received 6 death sentences. It only took the jury 90 minutes to reach their verdicts.
Jessie's first appeal was denied.
