Edith Garnett Pitts, 95, of Bowling Green went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Saturday, April 1, 2023. Born in Caroline, she was the daughter of the late, Robert Lee Garnett and Myrtle Mary Seal. Joining them in welcoming her home with open arms, her children, Toni Lynn Pitts, Ronnie Pitts and Carole Marie Pitts; four brothers, Robert Winston, Aubrey "Boots" Garnett, Chriss Lee Garnett, and Leslie "Man Garnett"; five sisters, Rebecca "Sis" Taylor, Frances "Horne" Martin, Lottie Pitts, Margaret Smith and Joyce Clark. Survivors include her son, Todd Pitts (Tracey); seven grandchildren, Kristy Seal (Charles), Troy Thomas (Tammy), Ashley Alden Pitts, Ashley Pitts Middlebrook (William), Cody Pitts, Dylan Pitts and Emma Pitts; seven great-grandchildren, Devin Dunnington (Tyler), Chase Seal, Brittany Johnson, Hunter Thomas, Holden Thomas, Tori Thomas and Landon Middlebrook; two great-grandchildren, Graham and Tessa Dunnington; as well as numerous nieces and nephews, but through the years staying very close with Wilma, Shirley, Robin, Norma Jean, and Linda who lovingly called her Aunt Emee. The family would like to extend a warm thank you to Margerie Martin, who became very close with Edith in the last three years assisting her during the week. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM Friday, April 7, 2023 with the service to follow at 11:00AM at Storke Funeral Home, 111 South Main Street, Bowling Green, VA. Burial will follow at Mt. Hermon Church Cemetery.
