Mrs. A. P. Phifer aged 50, of Marshville, died early Wednesday at Charlotte Sanatorium, where she had been under treatment for two days.
The body was accompanied to Marshville Wednesday and funeral and burial services will be conducted there some time Thursday morning.
Mrs. Phifer is survived b a son and daughter, Heath Phifer and Mrs. J. L. Bivens, of Marshville; a sister, Mrs. Leo Griffin, of Marshville, two half-sisters, Mrs. W. E. Smith and Miss Della Smith, of Union county, and a half-brother, F. W. Duncan, of Union county. Her husband died in 1914.
