Darrell was born in Clinton County, Kentucky on March 8th, 1961, son of the late Willie Lester Daniels and Eva Marie Huckaby Daniels.
Darrell was survived by his fiancé, Janice Dishman; one son, Darrell Daniels (and Catherine Renee Young); three daughters, Tiffany Oakley, Emily Coomer, and Tessa Lewis; eight grandchildren, Taylor (and Cody) Hopkins, Travis Daniels, Dalton Oakley, Brodi Daniels, Ethan Watson, Kayden Rowe, Blakelynn Daniels, and Malachi Oakley; one great granddaughter, Alissa Hopkins; one brother, Dale Daniels; one sister, Frank Daniels, and a host of other family and friends who mourn his passing.
Darrell was preceded in death by his parents, Lester Daniels, who departed this life on Christmas Eve, December 24th, 1999 and Eva Marie Daniels, who departed this life on May 21st, 1992; one son, Christopher Oakley; four brothers, Willie Thomas "Tom" Daniels, who departed this life on February 5th, 2007, Homer "Rudy" Daniels, Ricky Daniels, who departed this life on August 10th, 2017, and Campbell Paul "Barbie" Daniels, who departed this life on November 30th, 2019; and one sister, Carolyn Susan "Susie" Daniels Shelton, who departed this life on October 23rd, 2020.
Visitations were held from 12:00 noon until 1:00 p.m. on Friday, April 7th, 2023 at the Lake Cumberland Funeral Home in Somerset, Kentucky.
