Ross W."Lucky"Lucas of 3056 Bowne Road,died Saturday at his residence after being ill several months.

Born in Weir,Kansas,he lived most of his life in Oklahoma City,Okla.,and came to Battle Creek in 1951.

He served in the U>S>Army Air Corps during World War11
in Battle Creek,he was a mechanic at Browning Buick for 32 years,retired in June 1982.

Surviving are his wife,the former Evelyn "Lynn" O'Grady;

Sisters,Margie Carter and Mary J.Heard both of Oklahoma City;

Brothers;James D.Lucas of Texas,and Joseph L.Lucas of
Oklahoma City,Okla.

Services will be 10 am Tuesday at Farley-Estes Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the organization of one's choice.
