Mrs. Nana L. Eckles, 79, of 249 W. Thornton St., widow of the late August Eckles, died Saturday after a short illness. A native of New Philadelphia, Mrs. Eckles had lived in Akron since 1907. She was a member of the Akron Baptist Temple. She leaves a son, Leroy; a daughter, Mrs. Ora Hildreth; four grandchildren and five great - grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p. m. Monday at the Kucko Funeral Home with the Rev. James Moore officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery.
