WOLLARD LEDBETTER DIES FRIDAY AT FARM HOME From Decatur Review, Decatur, IL, 10-12-1934 (Great Grandfather)

Wollard (also went by Willard) Ledbetter, 75, retired farmer, died at 5 pm, Friday in his home on rural route 6, near Decatur. His death was caused by heart disease and followed an illness of four weeks.

Mr. Ledbetter was born in Piatt county May 12, 1859. He moved to near Decatur from Beecher City 35 years ago. He retired from active farming a year ago.

He leaves his wife, Mary, and the following sons and daughters; James Ledbetter and Mrs. Lovina Roberts, Decatur; Ira Ledbetter, Lakewood; Mrs. Ola Trueblood, Mrs. Della Miller, Mrs. Nora Poole and Joseph Ledbetter, all of Flanders, Mont. There are 18 grandchildren and six great grandchildren. The body was brought to the Moran and Sons Funeral Home.
