She was employed for many years at a shoe factory and a lamp factory, and she spent the next 33 years with Con-Agra in Marshall, MO, where she retired.
She was a Christian and a member of the Lanton Baptist Church.
She is survived by: friends she refered to as "adopted girls." Dorothy Smith Kerby and husband Harold and Ora Faye Ingram and husband, Kenny, and their families along with many other friends.
Her father and mother preceded her in death.
Services were held March 1 at Cox-Blevins Chapel with burial in State Line Cemetery with arrangements under the direction of Cox-Blevins Funeral home of Salem. Memorials may be made to Lanton Baptist Church or State Line Cemetery.
