Beloved son of the late Joseph and Adell Antal; dear brother of the late Ronald C. Antal and the late Joseph C. "Butch" (Linda) Antal, Jr.; dear uncle of Katelyn (Micah) Bolton; dear great-uncle of Emma and Lucy Bolton; our dear brother-in-law, nephew, cousin and friend.

Don was born on August 15, 1941. He was an avid golfer and was taught how to play by his father Joe. In 1958, he placed second in the Missouri Amateur Championship Golf Tournament. Don grew up in Bellefontaine Neighbors and attended school at the Riverview Public Schools. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran serving as an Electrical Inspector for the aircraft rolling off the assembly line. He attended the University of Missouri St. Louis where he achieved a degree in accounting and traveled often to Europe with his job, living there for over a year. Don spoke often of his trips to Germany and Scotland and the golf courses he played there. He was proud to be a member of the German Volksmarch Club, a non-competitive fitness walking sport popular in Ramstein, Stuttgart and Wiesbaden. Don played golf at Norwood Country Club where he also caddied. In his later years he could be found at Bellerive where he caddied for many of the pro's.

Services: Visitation at the ORTMANN STIPANOVICH Funeral Home, 12444 Olive Blvd., Creve Coeur, on Thursday, March 16, 4-8 p.m. Funeral Friday, March 17, 9:00 a.m. at Ortmann Stipanovich, and Interment at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery at 10 a.m.
