Concrete - Cheri Harrison (Gardner), 68, passed away after a brief illness on Wednesday, March 22, 2023 surrounded by her loving family.
She was born September 26, 1954 in Burlington, Wa to Floyd and Mary (Reece) Gardner.
She grew up in Concrete, WA and attended school there. She loved spending time with her family and watching her grandkids participate in all their different sports. In her early years she enjoyed riding horses and was even SVRC Senior Princess 1971.
She met and married Wayne White on October 2, 1971. They had two children Robert and Michelle. Wayne and Cheri parted ways and she married Michael E. Harrison on February 13, 1988-2001. She then spent the last several years with her longtime love Charlie Messer.
Cheri held many jobs starting in her early years cleaning rooms at the Del Conte, working at the Shanty and dedicating over 30 years to Albert's Family Grocer/Red Apple.
She will be remembered as a loving, kind and compassionate woman. She would do anything for her family and considered many friends to be family.
She was preceded in death by her parents Floyd and Mary (Reece) Gardner; Brothers Dale, Glen and Lonnie; Nephews Pat, Jeff, Greg and Dale.
Graveside services will be held Friday April 7, 2023 11am at Hamilton Cemetery with a reception to follow at Mount Baker Presbyterian Church in Concrete.
