Among the bands he has performed in are Jane's Addiction and the Red Hot Chili Peppers. After Connie divorced Mike in 1975, she and her son David lived in Bel Air. On March 4, 1983 Connie and her friend Susan Jory were murdered by Connie's jealous ex-boyfriend, John Riccardi, when Connie tried to break off the relationship. Riccardi broke into her apartment and shot both women. He was arrested after being featured on the TV show America's Most Wanted in 1991 and was convicted and sentenced to death in 1994.
