Born in Cleveland County, on March 29, 1948, he was a son of the late Warren H. Hoyle and Ronie "Maw" Bell Wright Hoyle. He was retired from Ronnie Turner Construction. Larry was a man who could fix or make anything, but what he will most be remember for is that he was a loving daddy and pawpaw to his family and many others.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife of fifty-five years, Catherine "Kathy" Louise Hoyle.
Survivors include his two sons, Timmy Hoyle and fiancée Lillie Setzer of Casar and Josh Hoyle of Casar; two daughters, Jeannie Walker and husband Chris of Casar and Elizebeth Hoyle and fiance Josh Hull of Casar; six grandchildren; Troy Walker, Eian Hull, Kaden Hull, Christopher White, Amber Setzer, and Christian Hildebrand; four brothers, Robert Hoyle and wife Ann of Morganton, Howard "Pete" Hoyle of Thomasville, Gene Hoyle and late wife Sheila Hoyle of Casar and Harvey Hoyle of Casar; two sisters, Vertie Vaughn and husband Dennis and Linda Kay Newton both of Casar; and numerous loving nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Monday, December 11, 2023, from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home. At other times the family will be at the home.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 12, 2023 at 3:00 PM at Pisgah Baptist Church.
