LuAnn Siehs 86, of Kiel died Thursday morning March 30, 2023 at Willowdale Nursing and Rehab Center. She is the former LuAnn Beil, born on September 3, 1936 in Green Bay, daughter of the late Henry W. & Ida A. (Maurer) Beil. LuAnn graduated from Brillion High School with the Class of 1954. She furthered her education at the University of Wisconsin, Oshkosh, earning her degree in education. LuAnn began her teaching career in Ada, in a 1 room school house. She later worked for the Kiel School District as a teacher and teachers aide until her retirement in 2006.

On August 17, 1958 she was united in marriage to Valentin E. Siehs at St. Peter UCC, Kiel, Val preceded her in death on March 15, 2004. LuAnn and Val were members of D.A.N.K. and the Kiel Jaycees/ Jaycettes for many years. She was also a longtime member of St. Peter UCC, Kiel where she taught Sunday School.

Survivors include her children; Karl (Laura) Siehs, Menominee Falls, Paul (Jan) Siehs, Niagara, Rich (Jennifer) Siehs, New Holstein, Marie Siehs (fiance Justin Kannich), Kiel, daughter-in-law; Elizabeth Siehs, Kiel, grandchildren; Kari (Willie) Gesch, Rachael Siehs, Patricia (Alex) McDaniel, Amanda Siehs (Fiancee Freddy Ehrett), step grandchildren; Jason Lund, Penny (Bryan) Kober. Further survived by great grandchildren; Della & Elinore Gesch, step great grandchildren; Brianna & Ethan Kober, Maxwell Lund, brother-in-law; Kurt Siehs along with other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; Val, son; Val Jr, brother; Reverend Howard (Della) Beil, sister; Irmgard (Walter) Dreier, sister-in-law; Sue Siehs.

According to LuAnn's wishes, private family services were held at Meiselwitz-Vollstedt-DeTroye Funeral Home. Burial followed in the Belitz - Kiel City Cemetery. Her family would like to thank Donell Vogel and Mandy Brost for their friendship and visits. They would also like to thank the nurses and staff at Willowdale and Calumet County Hospice
