Lynn Bell, 81, of Phoenix, Ariz., passed away Feb. 20, 2008, after a brief illness. Lynn was born in West Plains, Mo., and graduated high school in Granby, Mo. After serving in the Navy in World War II, he returned to Granby and began working for the Railway Mail Service. He continued to work for the Post Office Department as a postal inspector for many years. Following his retirement, he and his family moved to Prescott, Ariz., where he soon opened a private investigation agency. When he wasn't busy investigating, he and his wife enjoyed traveling, camping in their trailer and visiting their many friends. They left Prescott and spent several years in Green Valley and Tucson, before moving to Phoenix. Lynn is survived by his wife, Ruth; sons, David and Gary; sister, Joyce; nephews, Steve and Greg; and daughter-in-law, Leisa. In passing, he follows his parents, Perry and Amanda; and brother, Glenn. There will be a short graveside gathering on March 15, at 11 a.m. at the Greenwood Memorial Park in Phoenix, with a reception at his son's house following.
